1. Attach a suitable lifting device to the C-frame. 2. Remove two bolts (1) and washers, and remove pin assembly (2).3. Repeat Step 2 for the opposite side.4. Lower the C-frame to wooden blocks.
C-frame has been removed for photographic reasons.5. Disconnect hose assembly (3). 6. Remove nut (4) and washer (5). 7. Remove trunnion (6) from the machine. Install the bulldozer trunnion in the reverse order.8. Tighten nut (4) to a torque of 1220 68 N m (897.0 50.0 lb ft).Disassemble & Assemble Bulldozer Trunnion
Start By:a. remove bulldozer trunnion 1. Use tooling (A) and a suitable press, and press the bearing (not shown) out of trunnion (1). The following step is for the assembly of the bulldozer trunnion. 2. Lower the temperature of bearing (2). Use tooling (B) and a suitable press, and press bearing (2) into the trunnion (1).End By:a.
