Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install Tooling (A) and attach a suitable lifting device on housing (9).
Remove all gasket and foreign material from the housing.

Position core (11).
Put housing (9) and gasket (13) in position on the mounting plate. The two bolt (12) in mounting plate (10) must be installed. Install Tooling (B) in aftercooler (5).
Install bolts (1) and remove Tooling (B).
Repeat this procedure for the housing on the opposite side of the aftercooler.

Put brackets (6) and (7) in position and install bolts (8).

Clean the gasket material from aftercooler (5).

Put a new gasket and bonnet (2) in position and install clips (3) and bolts (4) and (1).
Repeat this procedure for the bonnet on the opposite side of the aftercooler. End By:
Install the aftercooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Aftercooler - Install".
