(25Z) Generator Set EnginesDescription of Change: This article supersedes a previous article in the August, 1991 issue. A new turbine nozzle is used in turbine housing on the turbochargers on generator set engines used for prime or continuous power. This change applies ONLY to 50 Hertz, 1500 rpm engines. The new turbine nozzle will provide higher boost and lower exhaust temperatures. This will result in increased service life from the exhaust valves in applications where the engine is operated at steady high loads.
Location of new 4W9132 Turbine Nozzle in 7E0674 Turbocharger Group.Adaptable To: The new 4W9132 Turbine Nozzle is a direct replacement for the former 2W8330 Turbine Nozzle in the 7E0674 Turbocharger Group on 50 Hertz, 1500 rpm generator sets ONLY. The new nozzle is in effect with 3516 Generator Set Engine 25Z2362.
