The throttle control knob is used to control the speed of the engine. Turning the knob to the full counterclockwise position will place the engine at idle. The full clockwise position is rated speed. The throttle control knob is connected to a potentiometer that varies a resistance. The potentiometer alters the voltage signal to the electrical converter. The electrical converter provides the engine with a throttle signal that is a PWM signal. The throttle control knob has an additional feature. In the event of an over pressure condition, the throttle signal will be interrupted and the engine will drop to idle speed. The throttle control knob will be inactive until the over pressure condition is reset. To reset an over pressure condition, verify that the reading on the digital gauge is below the trip point. Then rotate the throttle control knob to the full counterclockwise position. This will reset the over pressure condition. When the condition is reset, the throttle control will be restored to the throttle control knob.Engine Control Switch
The engine control switch enables the engine to start. The engine control switch needs to be in the RUN position. When you place the switch in the KILL position, the fuel will shut off to the engine. The engine will perform a normal stop.Alert Indicators
The alert indicators are provided in order to give the operator a visual indication of the status of the CPS361 Cement Pumper. The alert indicators provide a indication for the following systems: torque converter lockup, check unit and engine diagnostic codes. Torque Converter Lockup - This indicator will illuminate when the transmission has reached lockup. This will signal that the transmission is ready for load. Check Unit - This indicator will illuminate when a skid parameter is out of range or the engine ECM has experienced a fault. The operator should check the gauges for a parameter that is out of range. Additionally, check the engine ECM for diagnostic codes. Engine Diagnostic Code - This alert indicator is used to display flash codes for the engine. The flash codes are two digits that represent a diagnostic code. The indicator will blink for the first digit of the flash code. The indicator will pause for 5 seconds. Then blink for the second digit. Flash codes should only be used for a general
