Disassembly Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Remove nuts (12) and the washers. Remove outlet manifold (1) and the O-ring seals.

Remove nuts (13) and solenoid assemblies (14).

Remove auxiliary control valve (2) and the O-ring seals.

Remove bolts (20) and cover (18). Remove O-ring seal (16). Remove check valve (15) and the O-ring seal. Remove bolts (21) and cover (19). Remove O-ring seal (17) and O-ring seal (22).
Repeat Step 3 and Step 4 for auxiliary control valve (3).

Remove blade control valve (4).

Remove bolts (27) and lock washer (26). Remove cover (25) and O-ring seal (24). Remove check valve (23) and the O-ring seal. Remove bolts (30) and lock washer (31). Remove cover (29). Remove O-ring seal (28) and O-ring seal (32).
Repeat Step 6 and Step 7 for stick control valve (5) and bucket control valve (6).

Remove spacer (33) and the O-ring seals.

Remove left travel control valve (7) and the O-ring seals.
Remove right travel control valve (8) and the O-ring seals.
Repeat Step 6 and Step 7 for left travel control valve (7) and right travel control valve (8).

Remove spacer (34) and the O-ring seals.

Remove boom control valve (9) and the O-ring seals.
Repeat Step 9 and Step 10 for boom control valve (9) swing control valve (10).

Remove rods, washers, and nuts (35) from inlet manifold (11).
