Remove And Install Gas Pressure Regulator
1. Turn off the gas supply valve, and disconnect the line to the gas pressure regulator.2. Disconnect tube (1) (balance line) from the fitting on the gas pressure regulator.3. Remove clamp (3) from the joint assembly.4. Remove five bolts (2) that hold gas pressure regulator (4) on the plate. The following steps are for the installation of the gas pressure regulator.5. Position gas pressure regulator (4) on the plate and install five bolts (2) that hold it.6. Install clamp (3) on the joint assembly. The clamp should be tightened to a torque of 12 0.5 N m (108 4 lb.in.).7. Connect tube (1) (balance line) to the fitting on the gas pressure regulator.8. Connect line to gas pressure regulator and turn on gas supply.Disassemble Gas Pressure Regulator
Start By:a. remove gas pressure regulator 1. Remove the bolts and remove fitting (1) from the gas pressure regulator. 2. Remove O-ring seal (2) and orifice (3) from the fitting. 3. Remove the bolts that hold the regulator assembly together.4. Remove cover assembly (4), seat (5), spring (6), seat (7) and diaphragm assembly (8) from regulator body (9). 5. Remove the two screws and the pin that hold lever (10) on stem assembly (11). Remove lever (10), stem assembly (11) and holder assembly (12) from the regulator body. 6. Remove bolt (13), two heads (14), the head gasket and the pusher post from diaphragm (15). 7. Remove cap (16) and the gasket from cover assembly (4). 8. Remove screw (17) from the cover assembly.Assemble Gas Pressure Regulator
1. Install screw (17) in the cover assembly. 2. Install the gasket and cap (16) on cover assembly (4). 3. Install two heads (14), the head gasket and the pusher on diaphragm (15). Install bolt (13) to hold the diaphragm assembly together. 4. Install stem assembly (11) and holder assembly (12) in the regulator body.5. Position lever (10) on the stem assembly and install the pin and two screws that hold it in place. 6. Position diaphragm (8), seat (7), spring (6), seat (5) and cover assembly (4) on regulator body (9). Install the bolts that hold the regulator assembly together. 7. Install O-ring seal (2) and orifice (3) in the fitting. 8. Install fitting (1) on the gas pressure regulator and install the bolts that hold it.9. Check the pressure.
