Separate shaft housing (3) from impeller housing (4). Set the impeller housing aside.Note: A gasket is installed between shaft housing (3) and impeller housing (4) .Note: Use a suitable lifting device to lift shaft housing (3). The shaft housing weighs approximately 86 kg (190 lb).Note: Use a suitable lifting device to move impeller housing (4). The impeller housing weighs approximately 52 kg (114 lb).

Remove one bolt (5), one washer (6), and one spacer (7) from the shaft.

Secure impeller (8) with Tool (A). Attach Tool (B) to the shaft.
Use a suitable driver to rotate Tool (B) counterclockwise. Remove impeller (8) .

Remove washer (10) and remove spring (9) from the shaft.Note: Washer (10) and spring (9) are secured with impeller (8) .

Remove four nuts (11) .

Remove seal plate (12) .

Remove snap ring (13) using Tool (C). Remove shaft (14) through the motor mount end of shaft housing (3) .
Remove motor end shaft seal (15) from shaft (14). Remove the O-ring from the motor end shaft seal.

Use Tool (D) to remove snap ring (16) from the motor end of shaft (14) .

Use a suitable press and tooling in order to remove race and bearing cone (17) from the motor end of shaft (14).

Remove two nuts (19). Remove packing gland (20) .

Remove rotating seal (21) from shaft housing (3) .

Remove seal (22). Remove O-ring (23) .
