Assembly Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Install bearing (6) and bearing (7) fully in the bore of housing (5).

Lower the temperature of shaft assembly (4). Install shaft assembly (4). Ensure that the bearing is installed fully against the shoulder on shaft assembly (4).
Place retainer plate (3) into position.
Place the washers and bolts (2) that hold the retainer plate in position, but do not tighten. Push retainer plate (3) toward the groove of the shaft as far as possible. Tighten bolts (2) that hold retainer plate (3) in place.
Apply clean engine oil to O-ring seal (1) and install O-ring seal (1) on housing (5). End By:
Install the accessory drive.
