Remove the threshing drum. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Combine Threshing System".
Remove old rasp bars. Grind down welds that will interfere with installation of the new rasp bars.

Bolt the new rasp bar in place. Use bolt (A), washer (B) and nut (C) .
Mark the center for the new bolt hole.
Remove the new rasp bar. Drill a 12 mm (0.47 inch) hole from Step 4.Note: The rasp bars are packaged in sets of two. When you install the set, ensure that the rasp bars are installed on opposite sides of the threshing drum (180 degrees between each of the rasp bars).
Install the first rasp bar from the set of rasp bars. Use bolt (A), washer (B), nut (C), bolt (D) and washer (E). Torque the bolt (D) to 50 N m (37 lb ft). Torque the bolt (A) to 115 N m (85 ft).
Install the second rasp bar from the set rasp bars on the opposite side of the threshing drum. Use bolt (A), washer (B), nut (C), bolt (D) and washer (E). Torque the bolt (D) to 50 N m (37 lb ft). Torque the bolt A to 115 N m (85 ft).
Repeat the procedure for remaining rasp bars.
