Use Tooling (D) in order to remove sleeve bearing (18) (not shown) from counterweight frame (11). Repeat this step for the remaining three sleeve bearings (18) (not shown). Installation Procedure

Lower the temperature of sleeve bearing (18) (not shown). Use Tooling (E) in order to install sleeve bearing (18). Repeat this step for the remaining three sleeve bearings (18).

Attach Tooling (C) (not shown) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight frame (11). The weight of counterweight frame (11) is approximately 363 kg (800 lb). Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device in order to position counterweight frame (11) to the machine.
Install pin (17). Install bar (16) and install bolts (15). Repeat this step for the other pin (17), bar (16), and bolts (15).

Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device in order to lower counterweight frame (11).
Extend counterweight cylinder (12). Use Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device in order to align counterweight frame (11) with counterweight cylinder (12).
Install pin assembly (14) and bolt (13).

Remove the suitable cribbing from counterweight cylinder (12).

Remove Tooling (C) and the suitable lifting device from counterweight frame (11).

Position link (4). Install pin assembly (9) and bolt (10). Repeat this step for the other link (4), pin assembly (9), and bolt (10).
Position links (4) out of the way by installing rod assembly (5) that was removed during the removal of the counterweight sections.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to counterweight frame (3). The weight of counterweight frame (3) is approximately 1293 kg (2850 lb). Use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to position counterweight frame (3) to the machine.
Install pin (8). Install bar (7) and bolts (6). Repeat this step for the other pin (8), bar (7), and bolts (6).

Remove rod assembly (5) and lower links (4) into position. Note: It may be necessary to use Tooling (A) and the suitable lifting device in order to align counterweight (3) with links (4).
Install pin assembly (1) and bolt (2). Repeat this step for the other pin assembly (1) and bolt (2). End By:
Install the counterweight sections. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Counterweight Sections - Remove and Install".
