Remove bolts (1) and plate (2).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to top panel assembly (3). The weight of top panel assembly (3) is approximately 62 kg (137 lb).
Remove bolts (4). Use Tooling (A) and remove top panel assembly (3).

Disconnect harness assembly (6).
Loosen the clamps and disconnect hose assemblies (7). Cap hose assemblies (7) with Tooling (B).

Remove bolts (8) and DEF injector assembly (9).

Remove and discard seal (10) and gasket (11) from the DEF injector assembly.Installation Procedure
Install DEF injector assembly (9) in the reverse order of removal.Note: To maintain cleanliness, Tooling (B) must remain in place until the final fluid connections are made.Note: Install gasket (11) so that the metal is toward the Diesel Particulate Filter Group.
Replace gasket (11) with a new gasket. Replace seal (10) with a new seal.
Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (8). Tighten bolts (8) to a torque of 50 0.5 N.m (37 0.4 lb ft).
Retighten bolts (8) to a torque of 50 0.5 N.m (37 0.4 lb ft). Turn an additional 90° 5°.
