(2) General location of 334-6820 Plate on radiator guard
Refer to Illustration 1 for the location of 334-6820 Plate (1). Use an arc welder to weld 334-6820 Plate (1) to radiator guard (2) with a 6 mm (0.24 inch) fillet weld from point (C) to point (D).
Drill three holes for mounting the brace to the radiator guard.

This illustration shows a tool box that is mounted above the engine.
A toolbox that is mounted above the engine must be removed. This will allow the brace to travel to the frame assembly.

(3) Area for fourth bolt (4) Three mounting bolts on the 212-8019 Frame Plate Group
Remove three mounting bolts (4) on the 212-8019 Frame Plate Group .
Install the brace group. Use three 8T-4910 Bolts and three 8T-4223 Hard Washers .
Mark the area for fourth bolt (3) and drill the hole. Install 8T-4183 Bolt , two 8T-4223 Hard Washers and one 8T-4244 Nut .
Install three 8T-4910 Bolts and three 8T-4223 Hard Washers in order to mount the 333-0602 Brace to radiator guard (2). Use three 8T-4244 Nuts and three 8T-4223 Hard Washers to secure the 8T-4910 Bolts . Note: The 335-2302 Plate is used as a shim and may not be needed in every application.
Torque all mounting hardware to 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).

(5) 334-5259 Brace
Drill holes for mounting 334-5259 Brace (5). Install three 8T-4648 Bolts with three 8T-4223 Hard Washers . Secure the bolts with three 8T-4244 Nuts and 8T-4223 Hard Washers .

Install three 8T-4910 Bolts and three 8T-4223 Hard Washers in order to mount brace (5) to radiator guard (2). Use three 8T-4244 Nuts and three 8T-4223 Hard Washers to secure the 8T-4910 Bolts .Note: The 335-2302 Plate is used as a shim and may not be needed in every application.
Torque all mounting hardware to 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).
