The improved toric rings maintain their performance through a much wider range of temperatures, and perform significantly better in cold temperatures, as compared to the former toric rings. This significantly reduces the number of seal leaks when machines are operated in cold conditions. The toric rings visually appear the same, and can only be distinguished by the part number and the greater flexibility in cold temperatures.Adaptable To: The improved 163-7373 Toric Ring replaces the former 4M-0736 Toric Ring and is part of the new 163-7368 Duo-Cone Seal Group. The new toric ring is effective with Challenger 65E (6GS460), Challenger 75E (6HS447), Challenger 85E (6JS472) and Challenger 95E (6KS590) Agricultural Tractors. The improved 163-7373 Toric Ring as well as the 163-7368 Duo-Cone Seal Group is retrofittable to all earlier Tillage Challenger Agricultural Tractors that are equipped with either 9G-5347 Duo-Cone Seal Group or 9W-6630 Duo-Cone Seal Group. If machines will be used in arctic conditions, the 3P-1849 Toric Ring may be used instead of the 163-7373 Toric Ring, and is part of the 9W-6629 Seal Group.
