If a gauge is broken, repair the gauge or replace the gauge immediately.Frequently monitor the gauges during normal operation.Record the data in a log. Compare the new data to the data that was previously recorded. Comparing the new data to the recorded data will help to establish the trends of engine performance. A gauge reading that is abnormal may indicate a problem with operation or a problem with the gauge.
