The machine has a tilt cab arrangement for easier access to the torque converter and transmission.To Tilt The Cab
1. Raise the hood and remove panels (1) and (2).Early Machines
2. Remove plugs (3) and (4) from their mounting clips, remove four harness clamp bolts (5) and remove horn bracket (6). Removing the horn bracket allows the main harness to move freely as the cab is tilted.Later Machines
2. Separate electrical connectors (7) and (8).
Ensure that all Lines and Wires are clear of any obstructions before tilting the cab.
All Machines
3. Turn pump lever (9) fully clockwise.4. Remove clips (10) and pins (11).5. Install the pump handle (12) from the machine tool box on the pump shaft and operate the pump to raise the cab.6. When the cab is raised, remove pin (13) from stowage clip (if equipped) and install in the prop. Turn pump lever (9) counterclockwise to allow the weight of the cab to be supported by the prop.To Lower The Cab
1. Turn pump lever (9) clockwise, operate the pump to take the weight of the cab off the pin (13) and remove the pin.2. Turn pump lever (9) counterclockwise and allow the cab to lower.3. Install clips (10) and pins (11).4. Install plugs (3) and (4), harness clamp bolts (5) and bracket (6) OR make connections (7) and (8).5. Install panels (1) and (2) and lower the hood.6. Return pump handle (12) to the machine tool box.
