Install seals (17) onto the rod assembly.

Install seals (16) onto the head.

There are two methods of connecting the piston to the rod.

Use a spanner wrench to install piston (8) onto rod assembly (6). Install set screw (7) onto piston (8).

Install piston (11) onto rod assembly (10). Install nut (9) onto rod assembly (10). Use the hydraulic cylinder bench turning tool to tighten nut (9).

Support cylinder housing (5) with a suitable lifting device. Install cylinder housing (5) into rod assembly (6).

Install head bolts (4) onto the cylinder.
