Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Attach Tooling (B) to radiator guard (27). Attach the other end of Tooling (B) to a suitable lifting device.

Remove pins (20) and remove Tooling (C). Tilt radiator guard (27) back to the original position.

Remove Tooling (B).
Position radiator cover assembly (26) onto radiator guard (27) and install bolts (25).

Connect hoses (24) and (23).
Install hose (22).
Install hose (21).

Install pin (20). Install bolt (19). Detension the track. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Track - Check/Adjust". Repeat for the opposite side of the machine.

Install clamp (18).
Connect hose assemblies (17) and (16).

Connect hose (15) and tighten clamp (14).
Connect hose (13) and tighten clamp (12). Connect hose (11) and tighten clamp (10).
Connect hose assembly (9).

Install bolt (8) and connect harness assembly (7).
Connect hose (5) and tighten clamp (6).
Connect hose (3) and tighten clamp (4).

Position plate assembly (2) and install bolts (1).
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities - Refill" for the capacity of the cooling system. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC) - Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Extended Life Coolant - Change" for the proper filling procedure.
Fill the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities - Refill" for the capacity of the hydraulic tank. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the proper filling procedure.End By:
Install the bottom guard. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Bottom Guard - Install".
Install the engine side guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Engine Side Guards - Remove and Install".
Install the hood. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Hood - Remove and Install".
