U-190 A-126.3 AU-126 E-85.1 Some information needs to be changed in the Service Letter which follows: April 20, 1988 - PS4218; Product Support Program For Piston Skirt Scuffing on 776B Tractors and 777B, 785, and 789 Trucks On page 10, under the heading Service Claim Allowances for Update G, change the two asterisks (**) under 789 Trucks to three asterisks (***). Also, change the number of asterisks before the second note from 2 (**) to 3 (***). Add the following new note for 785 Trucks under Update G. ** Caterpillar's participation will be limited to 33 1/3% (D/N) for the 9Y2100 Pistons and 7C8608 Connecting Rod Assemblies. It is suggested that the customer be invoiced 50% of (C/L) for pistons and connecting rod assemblies.
