At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil is hot and under pressure. Hot oils can cause burns.To prevent possible personal injury, release the pressure in the implement hydraulic circuit (boom, stick, bucket, and swing), travel circuits, and the hydraulic oil tank at the filler cap before any hydraulic lines or components are disconnected or removed.Remove the filler cap only when the engine is stopped and the filler cap is cool enough to touch.
Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine.To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps.Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on.
Note: Put identification marks on all hoses, on all hose assemblies, on all wires, and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss, and this helps to keep contaminants from entering the system.
Drain the hydraulic oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change". The capacity of the hydraulic system is 115 L (30 US gal).

Remove bolts (1) and remove fender assembly (2) .

Disconnect hose (6). Loosen clamp (4) and disconnect hose (5). Remove bolts (3) and remove air cleaner assembly (7) .

Remove bolts (8) and remove door assembly (9) .

Remove the nut and washer (10) and remove cover (11) .

Remove the nut and washer (12) and remove battery hold down (13) .

Remove battery cables (14). Remove rod (15) and remove the batteries.

Remove bolt (16) and remove bolts (17). Set the condenser assembly aside.

Remove wing bolts (18) and screens (19). Remove bolts (20) and remove brackets (21) from each side of the hydraulic oil cooler.

Remove bolts (22) and disconnect hose assemblies (23) .

Remove bolts (24). Loosen hose clamps (25) and remove pipe assembly (26) .

Remove bolts (27) from each side of hydraulic oil cooler (28) and remove hydraulic oil cooler (28) .
