SWING BRKE V 0942879 - Caterpillar

1. Remove connector (3) from the clip, and separate the connector.2. Remove two bolts (1), the nuts and washers.3. Remove cover (2) and the gasket.4. Disengage the shaft of solenoid (4) from the governor lever, and remove solenoid (4). 5. Remove shaft (6) and spring (5) from solenoid (4).6. Inspect solenoid (4) and the diode. See Electrical System, Testing And Adjusting.7. Dimension (X) from the rear face of the bolt to the surface of the plunger must be 23.88 to 25.38 mm (.940 to .999 in.).8. Install spring (5) and shaft (6) into solenoid (4). 9. Install solenoid (4) with a new gasket.10. Engage shaft (6) of the solenoid with lever (7) of the governor.11. Install cover (2) with a new gasket.12. Install bolts (1), nuts and washers to hold solenoid (4) and plate (2).13. Connect wiring connector (3) together and place it in the clip.
