Dear Cat Product Owner:
The 3702506/">370-2506 Module needs to be replaced on the products listed below. The existing hydraulic oil level module will not turn on the hydraulic oil level indicator or alarm if the hydraulic oil level sensor is open circuit. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product(s), please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated.
Please refer the dealer to their Service Letter dated 02Aug2013 when scheduling this service.
We regret the inconvenience this may cause you, but urge you to have this service performed as soon as possible to prevent unscheduled downtime.

Rework Procedure
1. Disconnect the plug from 3702506/">370-2506 Module.
2 (a) For R2900G remove and retain two 7X-2501 Bolts and two 8T-4205 Washers.

(b) For AD30 remove and retain two 7X-2533 Bolts, four 9X-8256 Washers, and two 5C-2890 Nuts.

3. Remove and retain the 3702506/">370-2506 Module.
4. Check the 3702506/">370-2506 Module revision level, if the module does not have "Rev 04" or higher written in white. Replace the Module.

5. Install 3702506/">370-2506 Module with the bolts and washer retained in Step 2
6. Connect plug that was removed in step 1.
7. Return 3702506/">370-2506 Module in accordance with the parts disposition section of this service letter.
8. Check that new module is functioning correctly by disconnecting the low hydraulic oil level sensor and wait approximately 30 seconds for the low hydraulic oil level indicator and alarm in the cab to turn on.
