Slowly loosen Tooling (D) from motor shaft (23).

Remove vanes (24) and springs (25) from motor shaft (23).

Remove dowels (26) from cover (21), if necessary. Remove O-ring seal (27). Remove seal (28).

Remove tube (29).

Remove set screws (30) from locknut (31).

Use Tooling (C) in order to loosen locknut (31).

Attach Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to motor housing (32). Remove the grapple rotator. The weight of the grapple rotator is approximately 150 kg (330 lb).

Place the grapple rotator into a suitable press. Remove locknut (31) from shaft (33).

Use Tooling (F) in order to press shaft (33) from motor housing (32).

Attach Tooling (E) and a suitable lifting device to motor housing (32) and remove the motor housing from shaft (33). The weight of the motor housing is approximately 60 kg (130 lb).

Remove bearing cone (34) from motor housing (32).

Remove bearing cup (35) from motor housing (32).

Invert motor housing (32). Remove seal (36). Remove bearing cup (37).

Install locknut (31) and a suitable lifting device to shaft (33). Remove shaft (33) from the press. The weight of the shaft is approximately 90 kg (200 lb). Place shaft (33) on suitable blocking. Remove locknut (31) from shaft (33).

Remove bearing cone (38) from shaft (33). Remove spacer (39) from shaft (33).
