ACTION REQUIRED
Hydraulic lines will be replaced on the tractor hitch to prevent leaks with hitch movement. A new tube and hose will be installed, having a flange connection between them.
See the attached rework procedure.

PARTS DISPOSITION
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
Rework Procedure
Note: Putting a vacuum on the hydraulic tank may help minimize hydraulic oil spillage.
1) Replace current 8I1682 Tube As with a new 306-5162 Tube As using the same mounting hardware to hold it on the tractor hitch. Replace the 5K9090 Seal-O-Ring on the elbow assembly on the other end of the tube.
2) Replace current 8I1543 Hose As with a new 306-5160 Hose As using the same hardware at the connection with the elevator pump, but use a new 4J0520 Seal-O-Ring.
3) At the new tube and hose connection, use (4) 4L-9337 Bolts, (4) 8T4896 Washer-Hard, (2) 1P-4577 Flange-Half, and (1) 4J-5020 Seal-O-Ring.
