Connect Tooling (B) or Tooling (C) to pressure taps (7) and (8) .
Enter the machine.
Remove the floor panel in the cab.

Connect Tooling (B) or Tooling (C) to pressure taps (9) and (10) .
Replace the access panel in the floor of the cab.Test Procedure
The following test assumes that the ECM is set to the following parameters:
Maximum forward ground speed is 10 km/h (6.2 mph).
Reverse ground speed is 100% of forward ground speed.Record this information in Table 2 of the "Worksheet".
Start the machine and run the engine at LOW IDLE.
Release the parking brake.
Select the highest maximum ground speed setting.
Increase engine speed to HIGH IDLE.
While the transmission control lever is in the NEUTRAL position, push the steering control lever fully to the left.
Check the following items:
Engine speed
Drive pressure for the left drive pump (10)
Drive pressure for the right drive pump (8)
Speed of the left drive motor
Speed of the right drive motorRecord this information in Table 3 of the "Worksheet".
The engine speed should be 2400 100 rpm.
The drive pressure for the left drive pump at pressure tap (10) should be 5000 2000 kPa (725 300 psi).
The drive pressure of the right drive pump at pressure tap (8) should be 5000 2000 kPa (725 300 psi).
The speed of the left drive motor should be −1970 100 rpm. The speed of the right drive motor should be 1979 100 rpm.
While the transmission control lever is in the NEUTRAL position, push the steering control lever fully to the right.
Check the following items:
Engine speed
Drive pressure for the left drive pump (7)
Drive pressure for the right drive pump (9)
Speed of the left drive motor
Speed of the right drive motorRecord this information in Table 3 of the "Worksheet".
The engine speed should be 2400 100 rpm.
The drive pressure for the left drive pump at pressure tap (7) should be 5000 2000 kPa (725 300 psi).
The drive pressure for the right drive pump at pressure tap (8) should be 5000 2000 kPa (725 300 psi).
The speed of the left drive motor should be 1979 100 rpm. The speed of the right drive motor should be −1970 100 rpm.
Decrease engine speed to LOW IDLE.
Engage the parking brake.
If the motor speeds are out of the specification, recalibrate the speed and direction control. Refer to Testing and Adjusting, "Speed and Direction Control - Calibrate". Perform the steering test again.
After all of the tests have been completed, remove the test equipment and install the floorplate. Disconnect the communication adapter.
