Install swivel tee (D) in the line between motor displacement signal port (4) and the left AWD piston motor. Install test fitting (C) onto swivel tee (D). Install sensor (B) onto the pressure tap. Connect sensor (B) to pressure indicator (A). Position pressure indicator (A) in the cab for viewing during machine operation.
Install swivel tee (D) in the line between motor displacement signal port (5) and the right AWD piston motor. Install test fitting (C) onto swivel tee (D). Install sensor (B) onto the pressure tap. Connect sensor (B) to pressure indicator (A). Position pressure indicator (A) in the cab for viewing during machine operation.
Start the machine.
Set engine speed to 1600 50 RPM.
Ensure that the parking brake is engaged. Ensure that the AWD system is OFF. Test of The Left Motor Displacement

Use the override function in Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET). Set the value for the "Left Front Drive Pump Forward Control Solenoid Current Percentage Override" command to 100 percent.
Record the value of "Left Front Speed Ratio". The value should be between 0.7 and 0.745. Reference: If the value is not within the given range, refer to AWD ECM Testing and Adjusting, "Piston Pump and Motor Displacement (AWD) - Test and Adjust" prior to proceeding.
Override the "Left Front Drive Motor Solenoid Current Percentage Override" to 45 percent. Record the value of the "Left Front Speed Ratio". The value should not change from the value in Step 2 by more than 0.005.
