Assembly Procedure
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Install O-ring seal (25) to cover (23) .
Install stop (24) to quick-drop valve (3) and install cover (23) .

Install O-ring seals (22) to cover (16) .
Install valve (18), plunger (19), spring (20), and spacer (21) to quick-drop valve (3). Install cover (16) .

Install O-ring seals (17) to the quick-drop valve (3) .
Install the O-ring seal to cover (16) .
Install retainer (15) and ball (15A) to cover (16) .

Install valve (13) and spring (12) to check valve (1) .
Install O-ring seal (14) to flange (11). Install flange (11) .

Install balls (8) to check valve (1) .
Install O-ring seal (6) to plug (7). Install plug (7) .
Install O-ring seals (9) to retainer (10). Install retainer (10) .

Install valve (4) and spring (5) to check valve (1) .
