Apply Tooling (E) to the bores of tilt cylinder (5) .
Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (5). The weight of tilt cylinder (5) is approximately 220 kg (485 lb).
Install manifold (14) and the O-ring seal. Install the three bolts that hold manifold (14) .
Install hose assembly (15) .

Align the bores of the tilt cylinder and the front frame.
Install pin (13) .

Apply Tooling (F) to the inside diameter and the outside diameter of collet (12).
Install collet (12) .
Apply Tooling (F) to the threads of bolt (11).
Install bolt (11) .
Repeat Step 7 through Step 10 for the collet on the other side.Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other when the bolts are tight.
Tighten two bolts (11) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolts is less than 475 N m (350 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (11) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side until the torque on the bolts is less than 675 N m (500 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (11) to a final torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft).Note: At the end of 50 service hours, repeat Step 12 through Step 14.

Connect hose assemblies (9) and (10) .

Align the bores of the tilt cylinder and tilt link (7) .
Support the bottom of tilt link (7). Install pin (8) .

Apply Tooling (F) to the inside diameter and the outside diameter of collet (4) .
Install collet (4) .
Apply Tooling (F) to the threads of bolt (6) .
Install bolt (6) .
Repeat Step 18 through Step 21 for the collet on the other side.Note: The collet on one side must not extend farther than the other when the bolts are tight.
Tighten two bolts (6) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side with a heavy hammer until the torque on the bolts is less than 475 N m (350 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (6) evenly to a torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft). After the bolts are tight, hit the collet on each side until the torque on the bolts is less than 675 N m (500 lb ft).
Tighten two bolts (6) to a final torque of 870 110 N m (640 80 lb ft).Note: At the end of 50 service hours, repeat Step 23 through Step 25.
