Release the pressure from the hydraulic system.
1. Remove panel (1) from the right side of the operator's compartment. 2. Remove arm rest (5) and plate (3).3. Remove knobs (2) from the three control levers.4. Remove plate (4) and plate (6). 5. Disconnect two control rods (7) from the valve stems.6. Disconnect oil outlet line (9) and the oil inlet line from the valve.7. Disconnect the hydraulic lines (8) for the tilt and lift pilot valves. Put identification on the lines for the correct installation. 8. Remove four bolts (10) that hold the pilot control valve in position. 9. Remove pilot control valve (11).Install Pilot Control Valve
1. Put pilot control valve (1) in position under the plate as shown. Install the four bolts that hold it. 2. Connect two control rods (2) to the pilot control valve.3. Connect hydraulic lines (3) to the correct positions on the pilot control valve.4. Make an adjustment to the pilot control valve. See LIFT KICKOUT AND BUCKET POSITIONER in LOADER HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS in TESTING AND ADJUSTING.5. Install the plates, arm rest and control knobs on the levers in the operator's compartment. 6. Install panel (4) over the pilot control valve.Disassemble Pilot Control Valve
start by:a) remove pilot control valve 1. Remove three bolts (1) that hold the tilt valve, lift valve and two manifolds together.2. Make a separation of the valves and manifolds.3. Check the condition of the O-ring seals in the manifolds. If the seals have damage, use new parts for replacement. The tilt valve and lift valve are disassembled the same way. 4. Disassemble the lift valve and tilt valve as follows: a) Remove boot (2) from the housing. Remove the bolts that hold housing (3) to the valve body (7). Remove the housing.b) Remove the bolts that hold housing (6) to the valve body. Remove the housing.c) Check the condition of the O-ring seals in both housings. If the seals have damage, use new parts for replacement.d) Remove the valve stem from the valve body.e) Remove retainers (5) and spring (8) from valve stem (4). 5. Remove seal (9) from housing (3).Assemble Pilot Control Valve
1. Make sure all of the parts of the pilot control valve are clean and free of dirt and foreign material. Put clean hydraulic oil on all of the parts of the valve. 2. Install the lip type seal in the housing with tooling (A). Install the seal until it makes contact with the counterbore in the housing and with the lip of the seal toward the inside of the valve. The tilt valve and lift valve are assembled the same way. 3. Assemble the tilt and lift valves as follows: a) Put spring (2) in position on valve stem (5). Install the four retainers that hold it. Slide the valve stem in the valve body as shown.b) Install housing (3) and the bolts that hold it.c) Install housing (4) and the bolts that hold it. Install boot (1). 4. Put tilt valve (8) and lift valve
