Loosen set screw (1) in knob (2). Remove knob (2) .
Remove twelve screws (3) .

Slightly open front cover (6). Open the front cover enough to loosen hose clamps (5). Open the front cover enough to disconnect hose (4) .

Put the front cover aside. Be careful not to damage the thermostat capillary tube.Note: When the cover is opened, do not allow the thermostat capillary tube to be crimped. If this tube is crimped, the thermostat must be replaced.

Identify five electrical connections (8) on the rotary switch. Disconnect the harness.
Remove the nut on the front side of the cover. Remove rotary switch (7) .Installation Procedure

Install rotary switch (7). Install the nut on the front side of the cover.
