PROBLEM
The existing muffler mounting brackets can crack or break the weld joints on certain 826H Landfill Compactors. If the existing weld joint fails, it can/will cause the muffler to separate from the engine.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the failed muffler, left hand side mounting bracket, and mounting hardware. Replace with a new 438-8704 Bracket Assembly, 438-8707 Plate, 250-2220 Muffler Assembly, and mounting hardware.
