At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped and when the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hands.
Identify all hydraulic lines and wires as they are removed for reinstallation purposes. Cap and plug all lines and fittings to prevent any contaminants from entering the hydraulic system. 1. Raise left floor panel (1) and open engine compartment door (2). 2. Turn the operators station to the left. Attach a hoist to lifting strap (4) and remove two nuts and washers (3) (On the underside of the rubber stops). Remove the floor panel. The weight of the floor panel is 55 kg (120 lb). 3. Remove battery cable (4). Remove bracket (5) by removing two nuts (6).
When removing or installing this valve group, take care not to lose any of the six O-rings between the valve group and the manifold. On installation, be sure the O-rings are positioned correctly.
4. Remove two screws (7). Remove two gaskets (8) with connectors (9). Remove four bolts (10) and two bolts (11) to separate vibratory mode group (12) from manifold (13). To install vibratory mode group, reverse the removal steps.Disassemble & Assemble Vibratory Mode Group
Start By:a. remove vibratory mode group Scribe a line on all mating parts before disassembly to aid in the correct assembly.
Thoroughly clean the exterior of the valve group before any disassembly. Perform this procedure on a clean work bench, free from dirt and dust. On assembly, coat all moving parts with clean hydraulic oil.
1. Remove four O-rings (2) and two O-rings (3) from body (1). 2. Remove four screws (4) and remove valve assembly (5). 3. Remove four O-rings (6). Remove four screws (8) from both solenoids (9) and remove the solenoids from valve body (7). 4. Remove two springs (10), two cams (11) and two O-rings (13). Remove spool (12) from valve body (14). 5. Remove four bolts (15) and cap (16). 6. Remove spring (18) and two O-rings (17). 7. Remove washer (19) and spool (20).8. Repeat Steps 5 through 7 for the other side of the valve.
