Weld 090-8247 Block (8) onto the rear frame. Refer to Illustration 5 and Illustration 6. Use a 5 mm (0.20 inch) fillet weld on the top and the bottom of the block.

Install the appropriate wiring harness for the torque converter. Refer to Table 2.
Install one 192-5624 Bracket As , one 6K-8178 Clip , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (9) .
Install one 300-1292 Bracket As , one 6K-8178 Clip , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (10) .
Use the current 8C-7528 Clips and hardware at locations (11) for the new harness.Note: The routing and the connections of the new harness is identical to the old harness below location (10) .
If speed sensor (12) is required, install a new 266-8577 Speed Sensor Gp (TORQUE CONVERTER OUTPUT) with a new 3K-0360 O-Ring Seal . Torque the sensor to 25 5 N m (18 4 lb ft).

Install one 9M-8406 Clip (13). Use the rest of the existing hardware that is shown in View D for the new harness. Refer to Illustration 8.

Right side of the torque converter
Install two 6D-4246 Clips (14) with existing hardware.
Install one 174-4613 Angle As , one 4S-1962 Clip , one 5P-8939 Grommet , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (15) .

Rear frame
Install one 174-4613 Angle As , one 4S-1962 Clip , one 5P-8939 Grommet , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (16). Use the existing hardware in order to mount the new bracket.
Install one 124-3019 Bracket As , one 4S-1962 Clip , one 5P-8939 Grommet , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (17). Use the existing hardware in order to mount the new bracket.

Install one 299-1033 Bracket As , two 130-5300 Clips , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (19) onto block (8). Block (8) was welded to the frame in Step 11.
Install one 4S-1962 Clip , one 5P-8939 Grommet , one 8T-4137 Bolt , and one 8T-4121 Hard Washer (18) .
Route the engine wiring harness through grommet (18). Connect the engine wiring harness to the wiring harness connections for the torque converter that are now on the frame.Note: If the machine that is being serviced is equipped with the Oil Renewal System, proceed to Step 20. Otherwise, the rework procedure is complete.

If the machine is equipped with 246-5552 Engine Oil Metering Gp (OIL RENEWAL SYSTEM) (20), 298-6772 Harness As (22) must be added. Also, wiring harness (21) needs to be rerouted. Refer to Illustration 12 for the new routing of this wiring harness.
