Apply a suitable lifting device to boom cylinder (2). Apply tension.

Lower boom cylinder (2) from the boom. Place the boom cylinder onto suitable cribbing.

Attach a suitable lifting device to compensating cylinder (6) .
Remove bolt (7) and pin assembly (8). Lower compensating cylinder (6) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to boom (1). Apply tension. Raise the boom and remove Tooling (A) .

Lower boom (1). Install Tooling (B). Set Tooling (B ) at approximately 1016 mm (40 inches).

Attach a suitable lifting device to boom (1). Apply tension.
