Do not remove any valve, hydraulic fitting or valve core, nor disassemble any parts until pressure has been released. Failure to release pressure can cause personal injury or death.
The following steps are to release the pressure in the system:a. Shut off engine.b. With operator in seat and bucket on ground, engage selector valve (pilot control) and actuate an implement control lever about ten times to release pressure in hydraulic system.c. Press the relief valve button on the hydraulic tank breather to release the tank pressure.
Hydraulic oil that is under pressure and hot can cause bodily injury. Move the control levers to relieve pressure in the hydraulic system. Let the hydraulic oil become cool before any lines are disconnected in the hydraulic system.
1. Drain the hydraulic oil tank. The capacity of the hydraulic system is 1603 L (423 U.S. gal). 2. Remove four bolts (1) and the washers from tube assembly (2). Remove tie strap (3) from wiring harness (5). housing (5) to limit switch assembly (4) at the electrical connector. 3. Remove four socket head bolts (6) from blocker valve (7). Remove blocker valve (7) and the seal assembly from hydraulic tank (8).4. Repeat steps 2-3 on remaining two blocker valves. The following steps are for the installation of the blocker valve. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6396 O-ring Compound to all O-ring seals prior to installation, if applicable. 5. Put blocker valve (7) and the seal assembly in position on hydraulic tank (8). Install four socket head bolts (6) in blocker valve (7). 6. Put Tube (2) in position on the blocker valve. Install four bolts (1) and the washers in tube (2). Connect wiring harness (5) to limit switch assembly (4) at the electrical connector. Install new tie strap (3) on wiring harness (5).7. Refill the hydraulic system with hydraulic fluid. The capacity of the hydraulic system is 1600 L (423 U.S. gal). Start By:a. remove blocker valve 1. Position blocker valve (1) as shown and remove lever (2). 2. Remove seal assembly (3) from blocker valve (1). Remove two socket head bolts (4) and bracket (5) from blocker valve (1). 3. Remove jam nut (6) and the lock ring from limit switch assembly (7).4. Remove limit switch assembly (7) from bracket (5). 5. Remove two socket head bolts (8) and lever (9) from blocker valve (1). The following steps are for the assembly of the blocker valve. Check all components for wear or damage and replace if necessary. Apply 1U-6396 O-ring Compound to all O-ring seals prior to installation, if applicable. 6. Install lever (9) and two socket head bolts (8) on blocker valve (1). 7. Install limit switch assembly (7) in bracket (5).8. Install the lock ring and jam nut (6) on limit switch assembly (7). 9.
