Note: Mark all components for correct installation. Before you disassemble the unit, cover the ports and clean the outside of the unit in order to keep the components clean.

Remove bolts (1) and head (2) .

Remove O-ring seal (3) and plate (4) .

Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (5) .

Remove cover (6) .

Remove seal (7) from cover (6) .

Remove O-ring seal (8) and shims (9) .

Install Tooling (B) in order to remove rotating group (10) from housing (11) .

Remove barrel (12) from the pistons.

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Remove spring (13) and shim (14) from barrel (12) .

Remove screws (15) from the shaft. Remove plate (16) and the pistons from the shaft.

Remove pin (17) and pistons (18) from plate (16). The piston rings are nonserviceable separately from the pistons.

Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (19) from shaft (20) .

Use a suitable press and Tooling (D) in order to remove bearings (21) from shaft (20). The bearings are serviced only as a kit in order to maintain proper bearing preload.
