View From Under Machine9. Remove four bolts (7), the washers and cover plate (8) from under the auxiliary fuel tank.
View From Under Machine10. Remove four bolts (9), the washers and cover plate (10) from under the hydraulic oil tank.
View From Under Machine 11. Remove four bolts (11) that hold auxiliary fuel tank (12) in position. Pry the auxiliary fuel tank forward toward the boom to gain access to two bolts (13) and the washers.12. While holding the auxiliary fuel tank forward, remove two bolts (13) and the washers from side cover assembly (4). 13. Remove two bolts (14), the washers and side cover assembly (4) from the machine. 14. Remove hood assembly (15) and support rod (16) from the machine. Refer to the topic "Remove & Install Hood Assembly" in the 3306 Engine Supplement For 330B, 330B L and 330B LN Hydraulic Excavators, "Disassembly & Assembly" module, SENR8968.15. Remove bolts (17) and the washers that hold cover plates (18) and (19) in position. Remove the cover plates from above the hydraulic oil tank. 16. Remove 12 bolts (20) and the washers that hold support (21) and cover plate (22) that is directly over the main hydraulic pump. Remove the support and the cover plate from the machine. 17. Remove eight bolts (23), the washers and support (24). 18. Remove four bolts (25), the washers and frame support (26) from the machine. 19. Disconnect electrical connector (27). Remove the plastic ties.20. Loosen the clamps, and remove hose assembly (28) from hydraulic oil filter (29) . 21. Disconnect hose assembly (30) from the back side of the hydraulic oil tank. Put a plug in the end of the hose assembly to prevent oil loss and to keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system. 22. Disconnect four hose assemblies (31) from the hydraulic oil tank. Put plugs in the ends of the hose assemblies to prevent oil loss and to keep contaminants out of the hydraulic system.23. Disconnect electrical wiring connectors (32) and (33). Remove the plastic ties from the electrical wiring harnesses. 24. Remove two bolts (34) and the washers that hold pilot oil filter (35) to the hydraulic oil filter. Position the pilot oil filter out of the way of the hydraulic oil tank.
View From Under Hydraulic Oil Tank25. Remove six bolts (36) and the washers that hold the hydraulic oil tank to the frame of the machine. 26. Fasten Tooling (A) and a hoist to the top of hydraulic oil tank (37) as shown. Carefully remove the hydraulic oil tank and the hydraulic oil filter, as a unit from the machine. The combined weight of the hydraulic oil tank and the hydraulic oil filter is 208 kg (458 lb).27. Put identification marks on the shims used between the hydraulic oil tank and the frame of the machine for installation purposes. Remove the shims from the frame of the machine.28.
