Implement ECM Calibrations
The following calibrations can be performed to the Implement ECM:
Control Lever Calibration
Ripper Solenoid Calibration
Blade Solenoid CalibrationTo access the calibration procedures for the Implement ECM, establish the connections of the Cat ET to the machine. Navigate to the calibration screen by clicking "Service" on the tool bar and then clicking "Calibrations". Select the desired calibration procedure that is required. Click the "Start" button at the bottom of the screen.Once the specific calibration is selected, the Cat ET will guide you through the calibration procedure.The Cat ET will list initial machine conditions that must be satisfied before the ECM will allow the calibration procedure to continue. Follow the specific instructions on the display to complete the calibration procedure.Power Train ECM Calibrations
The following calibration can be performed to the Power Train ECM:
Brake Touch-Up Pressure Calibrations (Automatic)
Service Brake Pedal Calibration
Transmission Fill Calibration
Steering Control Pressure CalibrationNote: The Brake Touch-Up Pressure Calibrations (Automatic) is recommended after every transmission fill calibration, after brake pack replacement, and after brake solenoid valve replacement.To access the calibration procedures for the Power Train ECM, establish the connections of the Cat ET to the machine. Navigate to the calibration screen by clicking "Service" on the tool bar and then clicking "Calibrations". Select the desired calibration procedure that is required. Elevate machine off the ground.

Using tooling (C) to raise the rear of the machine. Raise the machine so the bottom of the track shoes clear the ground. Install tooling (B).

Use tooling (A) to raise the front of the machine so the bottom of the track shoes clear the ground.
Set engine speed to low idle.
Release parking brake.
Shift level must be in neutral.
Turn the Bidirectional Auto Shift Dial to 1 (OFF).
Release service brake.
Warm transmission oil to 60° C (140° F) or higher.
Shift transmission to 2nd gear.
Move shift lever to the forward position and wait.
Move shift lever to the neutral position and apply the parking brake.On the Ground Calibration (Optional)
Setup machine on flat ground with a minimum of 40 m distance to operate the machine while calibrating..
Set engine speed to low idle.
Release parking brake.
Shift lever must be in neutral.
Turn the Bidirectional Auto Shift Dial to 1 (OFF).
Release the service brake.
Warm transmission oil to 60° C (140° F) or higher.
Shift transmission to 2nd gear.
Follow ET calibration instructions.
Run the machine forward until the first pass of the calibration is complete.
Turn the machine around 180 degrees and run
