Remove the engine hood. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual, " Hood - Remove and Install" for the procedure to remove the engine hood.
Remove the air cleaner. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install" for the procedure to remove the air cleaner.
Climbing equipment may be required to access this service point. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Mounting and Dismounting" topic for safety information.
Hot engine components can cause injury from burns. Before performing maintenance on the engine, allow the engine and the components to cool.

Remove four bolts (2) and remove support (1) .

Loosen hose clamp (3) and disconnect upper hose (4) .

Loosen hose clamp (5) and disconnect lower hose (6) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (7). The aftercooler weighs approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
Remove three bolts (8) and remove the aftercooler from the machine.Installation Procedure

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to aftercooler (7). The aftercooler weighs approximately 25 kg (55 lb).
Position aftercooler (7) in the machine. Install three bolts (8) in order to secure the aftercooler.
Remove the lifting device and remove Tooling (A) .

Slide hose clamp (5) on lower hose (6). Install the hose on the aftercooler and tighten the hose clamp.

Slide hose clamp (3) on upper hose (4). Install the hose on the aftercooler and tighten the hose clamp.

Install support (1) and install four bolts (2) in order to secure the support to the machine.End By:
Install the air cleaner. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly manual, "Air Cleaner - Remove and Install" for the procedure to install the air cleaner.
Install the engine hood. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual, "Hood - Remove and Install" for the procedure to install the engine hood.
