Transmission Hydraulic Controls

Transmission modulating valves (1) and main relief valve (2) are contained in the transmission hydraulic control. Each of the five transmission clutches has a respective modulating valve with a solenoid. The modulating valves meter the oil that is used to control the operation of the transmission clutches.Transmission

Five hydraulically activated clutches provide three speeds FORWARD and three speeds REVERSE. Speed and direction are electronically selected by the operator.Power Train Oil Filter

Oil that is metered by the brake control valve is used to control the function of the brakes during machine operation. The brake control valve is operated electrically by the ECM, which responds to the operator movement of the brake pedal or the parking brake switch.Final Drive

The torque converter is a hydraulic connection that transfers engine power through the main drive shaft to the transmission. There is no direct mechanical connection between the engine and the main drive shaft. During operation, the torque converter multiplies torque as the load on the machine increases.Temperature Control
