The illustration shows the location of the new components. The new head, ring and seals will help prevent cylinder rod seal leakage.Adaptable As: The new and former head and seals for the 9J5868 Bulldozer Lift Cylinder Group are listed in the chart. The new head, ring and seals, when used together, are direct replacements for the former head and seals. The new head, ring and seals are adaptable to all D9L Tractors. The new head contains a groove in which the former 6J7167 Buffer Seal could fit. But that seal is not being installed in new cylinders from the factory and should not be installed in the field.
