Position material handling arm approximately (8 inch) to (12 inch) off the ground.

Remove the locking pin (1) from pin (2). Remove pin (2) from the bores in tube assembly (3).

Move tube assembly (3) in order to reach the desired position.
Align the bores for the pin (2) on the tube assembly (3).

Insert the pin (2) into the bores on the tube assembly (3). Install the locking pin (1) into pin (2). Loading the Material Handling Arm
Move the host machine forward into position.
Position the material handling arm in the center of the load. The host machine should be square with the load.
Lower the material handling arm to the load. Position the material handling arm in order to keep the material handling arm level.
Secure the load to the hook on the material handling arm. Use properly rated chains, cables, or properly rated slings. Ensure that all lifting devices are in good condition. Ensure that all lifting devices are rated at the correct weight limits. Position the lifting device in order to keep the load level.
Carefully lift the material handling arm in order to lift the load. Ensure that the material handling arm remains level. Traveling with a Load
Lower the load into the travel position. For the best operator vision, carry the load close to the ground.
Travel with the load uphill on upgrades. Travel with the load uphill on downgrades. For better vision, travel in reverse with bulky loads. Unloading the Material Handling Arm
Position the load over the area in order to unload the load. Ensure that the material handling arm remains level.
Carefully lower the load to the ground.
Lower the load into position. Note: You must make sure that the load is stable before you remove the lifting devices from the load.
Remove the lifting devices from the hook on the material handling arm.
Carefully lift the material handling arm away from the load.
Slowly operate the host machine in reverse until the material handling arm is clear of the load. Lifting Objects
To prevent injury, do not exceed the rated load capacity of the machine. If the machine is not on level ground, load capacities will vary.
Refer to the load charts in the Operation and Maintenance Manual of the host machine. Use the load charts and account for the mass of the work tool. Calculate the load capacity relative to the location of the lifting point on your specific host machine.The lifting point has a maximum capacity. The capacity is marked on the lifting point or near the lifting point. Do not exceed the maximum capacity.Use a sling or a shackle to attach to the lifting point and lift the object. The sling or the shackle must have a rated capacity
