Information:

At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the fill plug only when the engine is stopped, and the fill plug is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
1. Release the pressure in the hydraulic oil tank by slowly loosening pressure cap (1) located on the side of the tank.2. Remove the access cover from under the hydraulic oil tank to gain access to the drain plug; then drain the hydraulic oil tank. The capacity of the hydraulic oil tank is 105 liters (27.7 U.S. gal).3. Remove the hood from the machine. The weight of the hood is 23 kg (52 lb). Remove the access cover from above the hydraulic oil cooler. The access door for the air cleaner assembly, the air cleaner and the counterweight have been removed for better photo illustration of the hydraulic oil cooler. These components do not have to be removed in order to remove the hydraulic oil cooler.4. Loosen the clamps which hold hoses (4) and (5) in position. Slide the hoses off of the tubes of the hydraulic oil cooler.5. Fasten a hoist to the lifting eyes on the hydraulic oil cooler; then remove four bolts (3) from each side of the cooler.
During removal, guide the hydraulic oil cooler straight up and out of the mounting bracket to prevent damage to the core.
6. Remove hydraulic oil cooler (2). The weight of the hydraulic oil cooler is 24 kg (54 lb).7. Remove the two wing nuts, and remove the protector from the front of the hydraulic oil cooler. The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic oil cooler.8. Check the condition of the hydraulic oil cooler prior to installation. Remove any dirt or debris that may restrict the flow of air through the core. If any of the cooling fins are bent, they should be straightened prior to installation of the core. Be sure the protector for the hydraulic oil cooler is clean and free of dirt and debris.9. Install the protector and the two wing nuts that hold it on the front of the hydraulic oil cooler.10. Fasten a hoist to the lifting eyes on the hydraulic oil cooler, and put it in position on the mounting frame. Install the eight bolts that hold it.11. Slide hoses (4) and (5) in position on the tubes of the hydraulic oil cooler. Install the four hose clamps, and tighten them to a torque of 5 N m (4 lb ft).12. Reinstall the access door over the hydraulic oil cooler; then reinstall the hood on the machine.13. Be sure the drain plug for the hydraulic oil tank is tight. Install the cover under the hydraulic oil tank.14. Fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.
