Refer to the following information.For Caterpillar products that are equipped with a freewheel stator converter follow the recommendation given below.The recommendation is to replace ALL freewheel stator components at Planned Component Repair (PCR), after a freewheel stator failure or if any freewheel stator damage is observed. If there is any reason to replace a single component, all components of the freewheel stator must be replaced. Replacing all the freewheel stator components together helps prevent premature failure and yields the highest service life of the system.For the purposes of this publication, the components of the freewheel stator consist of the cam, rollers, springs, race or carrier, and thrust or side plates.
