Caterpillar announces Remanufactured 3208 long blocks as another dealer rebuild alternative for 3208 engines.

Turnaround time is reduced using Reman long blocks. They come fully assembled and are readily available. Using Reman blocks also helps the dealer control repair costs by utilizing components from the core engine.
FEATURES
These long blocks come fully assembled with the following component groups:
Short Block Cylinder Head Group
Valve Mechanism Group Camshaft Group
Valve Cover Group Lifting Eye Group Additionally, the PCV Valve, Oil Cooler Core and Water Pump Group are shipped loose with these long blocks.
CORE ACCEPTANCE
Core acceptance for Caterpillar Remanufactured long blocks is simple, visual and requires no special tools. Any 3208 long block is an acceptable core. See Core Acceptance Guideline SELD0029 for complete details.
