Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove hood.

Attach a suitable lifting device to muffler assembly (1). The weight of muffler assembly (1) is approximately 47 kg (104 lb).

Remove bolts (5) and clamp (4). Discard clamp (4).
Remove bolts (3). Remove bolts (2) from both sides of muffler assembly (1).
Remove muffler assembly (1).

Loosen clamp (7) and remove pipe (6). Loosen nuts (9) and remove nuts (10). Remove U-bolts (8). Remove bracket assembly (11) from muffler (12). Installation Procedure

Install bracket assembly (11) onto muffler (12). Install nuts (9) onto U-bolts (8). Install nut (10). Tighten the nuts to torque of 15 3 N m (133 27 lb in). Tighten nuts (9) to a torque of 35 7 N m (25 5 lb ft).
Install pipe (6) tighten clamp (7) to a torque of 47 4 N m (35 3lb ft).

Install bolts (2) on both sides of muffler assembly (1). Install bolts (3).
Install clamp (4) so that the larger end is over the females pipe. Locate the step of clamp (4) to the step of the overlapping pipe. Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 68 12 N m (50 9lb ft). End By:
