A new high temperature water regulator is now available for use in 311, 312, and 320 Excavators equipped with 3064/3066 Engines. The cooling system for these engines is factory equipped with a 71 °C (160 °F) water regulator. The new, optional regulator is rated at 82 °C (180 °F). This regulator is used to provide additional heat for the operators compartment in cold weather applications.
The new, optional 5I-8020 Regulator is a service repair part for the existing 5I-8010 and former 5I-7700 Regulators. This regulator is adaptable to 311 and 312 Excavators powered by the 3064 Engine and 320 Excavators powered by the 3066 Engine.
