Install ring (17) on the top of the upper pivot.

Install washer (16) after the tractor has been lined up with the trailing unit.

Roll the tractor toward the trailing unit. Line up the holes for the pivot pins. Install spacer (19) at the bottom of the lower pivot.

Install the upper pivot pins. Install the lower pivot pins. The upper pivot pin is installed from the top. The lower pivot pin is installed from the bottom. Install bolts and washers (15) that hold the pins for the pivots in place. Inspect the O-rings that are located on the washers. Replace the O-rings if the O-rings are damaged. Tighten bolts (15) to a torque of 370 50 N m (273 37 lb ft). Hit the largest end of the pin with a hammer in order to seat the pin. Torque the pin. Continue to impact and torque until the impact no longer relaxes the torque. Recheck after a road test.
An upper O-ring and a lower O-ring is located on each end of the steering cylinders. Install O-rings (14) .

Install seal face (13). Two seal faces are located at the ends of each cylinder. The seal faces are located on the top and on the bottom of the ends of the cylinders. Pivot steering cylinders (12) inward. Line up the holes of the cylinders with the holes on the oscillating hitch.

Install steering cylinder pins (9). Install bolt (8) and the washer for steering cylinder pins (9). Tighten bolt (8) to a torque of 210 40 N m (155 30 lb ft). Install bolts (7) for the universal joint. Tighten bolts (7) to a torque of 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft).

Install bolt (20) and the washer. Apply 1E-3263 Thread Lock to the threads of the bolt before installation.

Remove Tooling (B). Remove clevises (11). Remove lifting straps (12) .

Install bolts (10) and the washers. Tighten down bolts (10) until the bolts are hand tightened. Loosen the bolts by 180 degrees. Tighten the locking nuts to a torque of 225 25 N m (166 18 lb ft).

Unplug the lines. Unplug the fittings. Install hydraulic lines (3), (4), (5), and (6).

Install exhaust stack (2). Install clamps (1) for the exhaust stack.
