Setup Procedure for Simultaneous Use with the Emulsion Spray System
Use the following steps in order to set up the water spray system. In order to use the emulsion spray system and the water spray system, the emulsion spray system must be set up before the water spray system. If the water spray system is set up first, then the spray bar and spray valves will not open. For information on how to set up the emulsion spray system refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Emulsion Spray System".

Note: Adjust the proper spray bar width by turning OFF the appropriate spray bar nozzles.
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position and start the engine.
Turn the water selector switch to the ON position.Note: (H2O) water mode will scroll across the display screen (1).Note: If the escape key (4) is pressed at any time, the display will return to the previous screen.Note: After (H2O) water mode has scrolled across the display screen (1) , the display screen will show (MD OFF).
Use the scroll up key (6) to select the automatic mode of operation (MD AUT) and press the enter key.
Spray bar width (BWIDTH) appears in the display.
Use the scroll up key (6) to increase the spray bar width. Use the scroll down key (7) to decrease the spray bar width.
Press the enter key (5) to accept the selected spray bar width and to advance to the total volume (TOT VOL) screen.Note: When the total volume (TOT VOL) is displayed, press the scroll up key (6) or the scroll down key (7) in order to clear the total volume value.
Press the enter key (5) to save the total volume (TOT VOL) number and to advance to the total distance (TOT DIS) screen.Note: Pressing the scroll up key (6) or the scroll down key (7) clears the total distance (TOT DIS) value.
Press the enter key (5) to save the total distance (TOT DIS) and to advance to the total area (AREA) screen.Note: When the total area (AREA) screen is displayed, press the scroll up key or the scroll down key in order to clear the total area value.
Press the enter key (5) to save the total area (AREA) and to advance to the application rate (RATE) screen.
Use the scroll up key (6) to increase the application rate (RATE) or use the scroll down key (7) to decrease the application rate (RATE).
Press the enter key (5) to save the application rate (RATE) number and advance to the flow rate (FLOW) screen.
On the operator display press the radio button (2) until the screen flashes to save this information.Note: Press radio button (2) in order to view the water screen. Press radio button (3) in order to view the emulsion screen.
