start by:a) remove valve covers 1. Use tool (A) to put compression on the valve spring and remove the push rod. Move the rocker arm to the side. 2. Use tooling (B) and remove the valve lifter.3. Remove the guide spring from the lifter.Install Valve Lifters
1. Install a new guide spring on the valve lifter.
Always install a new guide spring on the lifter when the lifter is removed from the engine.
2. Put the valve lifter in position in holder (1) of tooling (A). Install 5P2408 Handle of tooling (A) on the lifter over the guide spring. 3. Install lifter in cylinder block with tooling (A).4. Install push rod. Use tool (B) to put the rocker arm in position.end by:a) install valve covers
