Remove the cover assembly (21) by removing four bolts (22) and washers (23) .

Disconnect the electrical connections (24) in order to prevent damage to the wire harnesses during the removal of the wall plate (37) .

Remove the left rear corner protector by removing the following parts: two bolts (25), two washers (26) and two bolts (27) .

Remove the right rear corner protector by removing two bolts (28), two bolts (29), and two washers (30) .

Remove the bolt (31) .
Remove the bolt (32) and the washer (33) .

Remove the bolt (34) .
Remove the bolts (35) and the washers (36) .

Outline the placement of the support assembly flange (40) onto the wall plate (37). The outline will aid in placement of the wall plate during installation.Note: Do not loosen or remove the bolts at the base of the support assembly. The support assembly establishes the position for the installation of the wall plate assembly, the fuel tank, and the hydraulic tank in this procedure. If the position for assembly is changed, correct alignment of the wall plate assembly, fuel tank, and hydraulic tank may not be possible without the use of a FT-2641 Alignment Fixture Gp .
Remove the wall plate assembly (37) by removing bolts (38) and washers (39) and two hidden bolts (41) and two washers (42) .

Attach tooling (A) to the wall plate assembly (37). Use suitable lifting straps and a lifting device in order to remove the wall plate assembly. The wall plate assembly weighs 29 kg (64 lb).
Remove the wall plate assembly.

Loosen the hose clamp (43) in order to disconnect fuel hose (44) .

Disconnect the electrical harness (45) .
Remove bolts (46) and washers (47) .

Remove bolt (48) and washer (49). The bolt is located on the bottom rear of the fuel tank.

Loosen hose clamp (50) in order to remove the hose (51) .
Remove the bolt (52) and the washer (53) that secures the rear of the fuel tank to the machine.

Attach tooling (A) to the fuel tank. Use suitable lifting straps in order to remove the fuel tank. The weight of an empty fuel tank is 22.5 kg (49.6 lb).
Remove the fuel tank.
